Sometimes when I've consumed far too much caffeine (like tonight) I play this little game of "What I Would Do if I Won the Lottery" ~ you should try it; it works better than counting sheep.

What I would buy:
A Victorian (preferably somewhere in the country)
Either a 1962 Volvo 122, 1976 BMW 2002 or a Toyota Toyopet
A daily driver (VW Golf)
An African Grey & Welsh Corgi

That's honestly about it. I'm quite easy to please. The rest of the dough would be to pay off bills, build my recording studio and pay for classes.

I'm quite proud to say that money has never impressed me. In fact it really turns me off. Fancy cars? YAWN. Big houses? ICK. Fancy clothing? LAME! Mtv cribs? CHANGE THE CHANNEL! Perhaps it was due to the fact that while growing up my family never really had a lot of money. I learned to appreciate the Salvation Army, yard sales and clearance racks at a young age. Vintage clothing started appealing to me more as a teenager ... far more than what the other kids were currently wearing (although I was "called out" a few times during my short attempt at public school, I really don't think it had anything to do with my mismatched clothing and tacky Payless shoes).

Tomorrow I will attempt to buy my first Lottery ticket since being back in CA - I'll let you know how it goes. :)
